Mi chiamo Domenico Capasso , sono un fotografo nato a Napoli nel 1972 . Mi piace pensare solitamente a ciò che non viene percepito visivamente e raccontare i miei pensieri in modo concettuale cercando di esprimermi ed esplorare al di fuori dei binari di una vita che molti vivono seguendo percorsi prestabiliti .
Adoro osservare il mondo che mi circonda e spesso vado controcorrente senza mai snaturare il mio essere. Il mio primo approccio con la fotografia comincia da lontano ,con le manipolazioni in Photoshop. Attaccavo pezzi di foto recuperate un po' ovunque per restituire un immagine e un racconto creativo. Poi con il passare del tempo ho incominciato a pensarle ...le foto e senza usare la macchina fotografica nella mia mente avevo già davanti agli occhi l’immagine da scattare.

Ho un trascorso da chitarrista/cantante. La mia vera passione è la Musica associata alla Fotografia e per questo vi capiterà di ritrovare sulle mie fotografie , titoli di canzoni . Tutto quello che amo è fotografare i musicisti cercando durante i concerti di fermare il tempo … mettere una pausa e congelare l’attimo di un assolo o di una loro espressione.
Mi muovo con la consapevolezza di essere arrivato tardi al vera fotografia e per questo cerco di recuperare tutto il tempo perso immergendomi completamente in questa mia ricerca personale. Vi capiterà di incontrarmi SOTTO IL PALCO indifferentemente nel mega stadio o la piazzetta di paese. Questo sono io e questo è il mio mondo... Benvenuto....

My name is Domenico Capasso , I am a photographer and I was born in Naples in 1972 . I usually like to think about what is not perceived visually and tell my thoughts in a conceptual way trying to express myself with the enthusiasm and the ability to get out of the tracks of a life that many live following predetermined paths . I love to observe the world that surrounds me and I often go against the current without ever distorting my being.
My first approach with photography starts from a distance , with the manipulations in Photoshop. I used to attach pieces of recovered images to give back an image and a creative story. Then with the passing of time I began to think of her ...the photos and without using the camera in my mind I already had in front of my eyes the image to be taken.
I have a past as a guitarist/singer. My real passion is the music associated with photography and for this you will find on my photographs , song titles . All I love is photographing musicians and stopping time ...put a pause and freeze the moment of a solo or their expression.
I move with the awareness of having arrived late to the real photography and for this I try to make up for all the lost time by immersing myself completely in this my personal search. You will meet me UNDER THE STAGE without discriminating whether in the mega-stadium or the village square. This is me and this is my world... Welcome..
